“The future is electric:” Audi is staying consistently true to its strategic alignment by presenting the second model in its e-tron product line. The Audi e-tron Sportback is a dynamic SUV coupé offering up to 300 kW of power and a range of up to 446 kilometers (277.1 miles) ( in the WLTP cycle) from a single battery charge (combined electric power consumption in kWh/100 km (62.1 mi): 26.3 - 21.6 (WLTP); 23.9 – 20.6 (NEFZ); combined CO2 emissions in g/km (g/mi): 0). Its digital matrix LED headlights are a new feature now available for the first time in a mass-production vehicle. Their light is broken down into tiny pixels and can be controlled with exceptional precision. This makes safe lane centering easier on narrow stretches of road and shows the position of the vehicle in the lane. The Audi e-tronSportback** can be ordered as of the end of November. Market introduction in Europe is scheduled for the spring of 2020.

 

The new Audi S8** combines progressive luxury with dynamic athleticism while honing its reputation as the benchmark for Vorsprung durch Technik with innovative suspension systems. Its 4.0 TFSI engine – a biturbo eight-cylinder unit – produces 420 kW (571 hp) and an opulent 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque (combined fuel consumption in l/100 km: 11.3–11.4* (20.8–20.6 US mpg); combined CO2 emissions in g/km: 258–260* (415.2–418.4 g/mi)). It is combined with MHEV technology for the perfect symbiosis of efficiency and comfort with exhilarating performance. The predictive active suspension, dynamic-all-wheel steering and quattro drive with sport differential provide for outstanding vehicle dynamics straight from the factory. The new Audi S8** uses specific design elements to express the sporty elegance of the sophisticated luxury sedan with pinpoint precision.

 

From special series to standard range: The Audi R8 V10 with rear-wheel drive (combined fuel consumption in l/100 km: 13.1–12.9 (18.0–18.2 US mpg); combined CO2 emissions in g/km: 293–299 (471.5–481.2 g/mi)) is advancing to a permanent model. In this context, its exterior is being redesigned to make it even more striking: It will be fitted with the same new features as the R8 V10 quattro models**. The V10 mid-engine, which delivers 397 kW (540 PS) here, and the rear-wheel drive offer a puristic kind of driving pleasure. The near-production-level Audi R8 LMS GT4 racing car, which also features rear-wheel drive, is being released at the same time, with a new design and noticeable optimizations in terms of vehicle dynamics. The customer sport racing car for the international GT4 category will offer private drivers even more precise adjustment options in the future.

 

Audi is expanding its portfolio of electrified models consistently: Five powerful cars with plug-in hybrid drive are making their debut in the second half of 2019 alone. Presales of the A6 55 TFSI e quattro (combined fuel consumption in l/100 km*: 2.1–1.9 (112.0 – 123.8 US mpg); combined energy consumption in kWh/100 km*: 17.9 – 17.4; combined CO2 emissions in g/km*: 47 – 43 (75.6 – 69.2 g/mi) are starting in Germany. With its system output of 270 kW (367 PS), it delivers a confident performance.
